NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

2 things that are pissing me off about this game

1)amount of injuries (im getting at least 3 per game)
2)Trips set is a instant win each time, the defenders go full retard...twice there has been a hail marry trips, and both times were caught for TD's, it's been 1 defender vs 3

Odd, injuries are actually down for me so far this year - and far fewer of the little nagging ones. Last year in OD I never had a starting RB or QB who didn't miss multiple weeks of the season.

is anybody doing RTG....and if so, are you having any fun? I can't stand it....but maybe that's because as a RB my line doesn't block for shit and my coach likes to call plays right into the stacked side of the defense every time.

oh....you've brought 9 people into the box? i think our original play will still work.

I've found the RTG to be very tiresome very quickly. I wonder if its different, but I wish they'd give you options of plays to select from. The playcalling is genuinely dumb. I was a cornerback in the '09 version and they called a cornerback blitz every 3rd play. Ridiculous. Played as a RB as well, and the amount of draws or counters was absurd as well.

I'm playing as a CB/WR. only made it through three HS games so far, but I'm liking it, although CB is still hard as hell to be good at IMO. The QB never throws the ball to my side, so I don't get any tackles, which leads to me not getting any recruiting points.

Something that could possibly lead into some problems in CPU recruiting. That scUM guy said the CPU recruited heavily at WR (ended up with 14??) even though there was no need.

Gomer just took a job at UK after the 1st year and the CPU recruited RB's heavily (11 total).

If the CPU recruits heavily at a certain position, that could potentially make other positions thin in future seasons. For example having minimum # of offensive lineman, which a starter could be a backup of a position who could get hurt. Then you have fatigue issues showing up as well if thin

My first draft of OSU is done. This is just a holdover until Fairdale Kings is done. Travis Howard is wearing #7, but Bauserman had to give up #14 to Grant. (would you guys rather have Joe or Curtis have #14? I doubt many of you will be using Joe vs Braxton)

I tweaked pastapadre's roster with updates for Texas, UF, UM, Ore, Stan, A&M, LSU (just ware), Bama.

I also made a quick version of OSU edits (Roby, Grant, Tanner, Smith, Ty, Brax #5, Trav #7). I'm waiting on Fairdale Kings' rosters to make a complete version (pastapadre wasted the other #11 by changing it, I want to give Shazier that # since it is close to 10).

passing is very frustrating in this game, anyone else think the pass D is a little bit too overpowered?

doesn't help it seems a WR doesn't know how to hold onto the ball when he gets hit either

Pass D is vicious this year.... trying to pass against top teams is extremely difficult.

How'd you get #7 for Howard? It won't let me give it to him because Hall is wearing it.

I'm using Bauserman. Braxton's getting redshirted. By the way, as far as creating Grant goes, what stats are accurate? I want to make him the second best freshman on defense after Clowney, so his OVR needs to be between 80 and 82.

Aside from the fact that (again, Garcia is a fat heroine addict) I played Scar vs OSU last night to try something new. Yet with my custom offense & defense.

Gave up a ton of yards but held great in the red zone. Wasn't able to get Alshon Jefferey really involved (3 catches) but the safety kept shading to his side and that really helped to free up the intermediate routes.

14/22 for 213 yards 1TD 1 Int.

I went off with Lattimore though. 173 yards on 19 carries.

5-1 and going strong.

The mixture of the pass rush and the defenses ridiculous jamming at the line of scrimmage is what gets me. If the receivers had time to get where they were supposed to go there would be some holes

I think I might turn Pryor into #2 Bauserman (Bauserman into Reed, then give Braxton #5).

Do you mind if Joe wears #2 for a season? There aren't enough single digit #'s otherwise.

It also makes more sense to have Joe as the impact player than Verlon Reed. Also, the game will eventually sort out who your 3rd impact player should be, whether that is Boom, etc.

I went with 80 ovr, 89 spd, 87 tha 81 tha.
