The best way to show that you're ready is to use all of your time...at least that's my experience. However, I haven't recruited online since the first time I tried it and didn't like it.

I only have 5 slots left and I'm recruiting 7 guys with only a legitimate chance of landing 2-3. I'll try to mark myself ready, but we have company staying over through Sunday so my gaming time is limited.

I'm ready, just can't login into the PS3 tonight to mark it. Don't want to waste time looking for recruits and clicking through the pitches just so I can spend every minute.

"Ready" status is pretty much screwed, so I'm just going to stick to the schedule for advancing.

We have advanced to week 3. No advance tomorrow morning because of the game tonight. Next advance will not be until Friday night.

I don't think that it will be an issue since the new tuner is supposed to come out Tuesday, but I plan on waiting until the tuner comes out before I advance to the pre-season. I want the "fixed" recruits tuner in place before the game generates our next recruiting class.

Yea, I am not sure why EA would have even thought this would be a good idea....I am thinking about cutting multiple 3 stars....Really makes having a mediocre team a big disadvantage in years 2-3 due to the default rosters being so much better.

Yea, my team is going to regress at many positions. Out of the 23 people I recruited I might be able to use 6 or 7 at some point.

I recruited, I believe, 6 3 stars, 5 of them rated in the low 60s, one in the 50s. The 17 2 stars are essentially worthless, with at least half rated in the high 40s. I may be able to use one or two later in their career, but I kinda doubt it.

I expected the rankings to suck, but this is far worse than I thought.
