Yeah, I got fucked by the supercomputer today. Was up 20-10, then all of the sudden it happens. QB fumble, they run it in for a score.

Long cpletion, long run, then boom, superman interception. Wasnt able to get the replay up, but it was insane. A DL got into coverage against my #1 WR. I throw it long, WR has the DL beat...and the 325 LB behemoth leaps into the air, tips the ball, turns around, makes the pick.

Fucking bullshit. When a DL is outjumping a WR, and has better hands, I'm saying bullshit.

MARK YOURSELVES AS READY TO ADVANCE, IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE ALL OF YOUR RECRUITING TIME. It is much easier for me to check the "ready" status of the dynasty if I don't have to load the fucking thing everytime I want to see if everyone is done with their week.

As of last night, Piney and fanatic still have their games to play, but I won't be advancing until Thursday night anyway. I'm actually ok with stalling a little until patch #2 comes out. So the delay from this weekend setting us back one week should work out in our favor.

It is rumored that patch #2 will fix many of the recruit and progression issues, but it won't do it retroactively, i.e., the shitty recruits from this season will remain shitty, unless we completely restart the dynasty.

I do not want to restart the dynasty, but we will do an official vote once we know what is actually in the patch, and how it will affect our dynasties. Basically, my thinking is that we can write off one year of recruiting as just being a bad year for recruits, and continue forward with the dynasty.

Lastly, since we can change commissioners without taking the dynasty offline this year, I'm going to need some volunteers to take over my duties in the event that I need to travel or simply can't keep up due to work schedule. Olaf and fanatic did a great job taking over the two dynasties last year, but I don't want to assume that they'll do it, and I don't want to leave anyone else out. If you can help out, then let me know, and I'll likely just rotate through people as I need their assistance.

Big win for the program today. UNLV pounds TCU 31-7. Led by Channing Trotter 31 carries, 119 yards and 3 touchdowns. Defense was outstanding today holding TCU to 183 yards of total offense, combined with 3 well timed interceptions. Hopefully I can get some recruits to commit now.

Big win for PCU tonight too. It turns out that I am a better passer out of the flexbone than I ever was out of the shotgun. I had success running the option early on, and mixing in the pass. I was beating Wisconsin 14-0 after the first quarter, but only 17-0 heading into the 4th when Clay became unstoppable. Wisky scored 21 unanswered to take the 21-17 lead with two minutes left in the game. I was driving to make the comeback, and they still insisted on stacking the box to stop the run. A nice little lob to my wing back for a 62 yard TD put PCU ahead to stay. Huge win for PCU to pull to .500 and hosting a ton of recruits.

if anyone wants my spot in either league at the end of this year speak up....Im not going to play against the computer when it does this, i dont need the added stress. Super DB speed of 234 on an open WR is a joke. Dropped OPEN passes is a fuckking retarded miscarriage. last 2 games ive played there is NO winning. I can see if im picking bad coverage or something, but i rush 2 people against fucking Northsuckmydickwestern and there QB looked like fucking John god dam Elway on the drive every series. Fuck you EA. Make it hard but not impossible.

I accidently posted my bitching about this dynasty in the other one again

I quit

I make an amazing comeback (down 37-13 at the half)

only to get [censored]ed in the end by a BS fumble on a punt

and a hail mary\

not to mention the BS fumble by my WR earlier in the game

and their DT running step for step with my HB and grabbing a pick 6

one of those games where the AI wont allow you to win no matter what, because you are a [censored]ty team, just no fun

this is not the case of just being a [censored]ty team, its a case of the AI cheating and pulling bull[censored] out its ass to win

and all this on a game where basically all of my recruits were visiting, im [censored]ed, so whats the point? I picked this week because I figured Kansas wouldnt be un [censored]ing stoppable like Texas and OU

completing 60 yard Hail Marys where their WR catches it inbetween 4 defenders with 4 seconds left to set up a game winning field goal.....

theres no way you are going to ever get any good recruits when you are going 5-7 4-8 6-6 every year because the computer cheats

Nice 27, I havent had any KR for scores yet. Best I had was when I went up the middle, broke it outside ag got stopped at the 5. But hell yeah, great way to win off a KR!

With regards to the bitching, that I myself have taken part in, lets not make a rash decision regarding the future of the dynasty.

A bad first year is not to be unexpected, especially with shit teams. This is not a sudden change, if you wanted to be favored in every game then this is not the dynasty for you. Think about it. I have Bowling Fucking Green in the Big East. Sort of a pussy conference, but most of those teams have way better skill position players than BG. However, give me a couple seasons and it will level out, just like it should.

As pissed as I am at the losses, my 2-5 record is pretty reasonable. There was only one game that I felt jewed out of the win, otherwise I think its fair. BG would struglle against these teams, especially with the shit system in place. As long I don't get fired, bowl game in 2011 :rockon:

Also, patch #2 should be here soon.

So, tough it out, play at least 2 seasons before quitting. You never know where things will go.

Tulsa came out and played well above their ratings. I fumbled the opening kickoff which they scored a TD from 2 plays later. I scored a TD and then they knocked out my QB for the game. My backup is a mid 50s rated QB who resembles the wild thing when he throws, good power, but has no idea where the hell it's going.

I managed to lob a pass with my backup on 3rd an 18 that went for a TD to grab a 2nd quarter lead 14-7.

Then #90, Thad Gibson - at least that is who it resembled, kicked in for Tulsa. He broke through the line several times to disrupt plays and then made a play I have yet seen in NCAA. I was throwing a bullet to my RB in the flat as he sprinted into the lane, jumped high to intercept a 60 mph pass to the RB and took off 60 yards for the TD faster than any DE you've ever seen. [replay on the dynasty web page] Tulsa held a 24-14 lead within minutes before I made a miracle pass for a TD to close it 24-21 at half.

I had to overcome 5 turnovers to win the game. The backup threw 4 pics, one was my fault the others were due to his obvious lack of ability. Tulsa blitzed all game long which stopped my running game. If my starting QB wasn't injured, who isn't all that good, but looks like Montana compared to the backup, I would have won by a lot more.

The game was far closer than the score indicates. Tulsa was driving with under two minutes when I was up by 4 when I forced a fumble on the 15 yard line. I soon broke a 70 yard run to put the game out of reach and kicked a FG after they went 4 and out. I was sweating bullets in this game as losing to Tulsa would have been rather embarrassing when people here are beating teams like Wiscy. :wink:

I am having NO problems dispatching the likes of Army, Eastern Michigan and Miami.

Maybe I spoke too soon... I am playing an undefeated North Carolina this coming week? I will post my bitching about this game sometime this weekend.

But we do have to remember what Bluff said. We have really crappy teams. When you play the likes of Ohio St, Texas and even the likes of Michigan St, Arizona or a team like Wake Forest... they SHOULD kick the shit out of you.
