I say lets go for it! Then if they are good, we can use them in the other dynasty

Alright, I will change them at the next advance. Their are several human games after this advance as well, so we should get decent feedback.Piney;1642181; said:I say lets go for it! Then if they are good, we can use them in the other dynasty![]()

I can live with passes dropped in coverage. But these drops were WIDE open; no defenders around. Not sure if it is QB rating or TE rating though?jwinslow;1642439; said:I don't think we had as many problems with drops, but we weren't using your sliders before, so perhaps that's part of it.
Illinois was getting consistent pressure in the game I played. Seemed like it was always with a move of some sort, so you could see it coming at least.jwinslow;1642439; said:One gripe is that the pass rush isn't that great even with a blitz, but the flipside is that they win 1v1 battles at a more human pace. A DT might swim past a guard or a DE beats the tackle outside, but they don't seem to warp past them as much.

We can always not change them. Or change them back if we don't like.Smooth Olaf;1642537; said:I'm always apprehensive whenever we talk about messing with the sliders, especially when it's to make games "more realistic." I remember we did this in Piney's league in 09 and it took all the fun away.

The difference between then and now was the difference between the team ratings in the league. A lot of us started out with teams that were rated 77 or 79 overall. You guys that started out with teams in the 60's were fucked. Also, 'mania missing out on about a season and a half (at least) of recruiting killed him. The Super Conference has 7 teams that are all evenly rated and highly rated. A decent set of sliders should work a lot better for a league like that. For Piney's league this year...probably not. It would probably be impossible to find a set of sliders that would make it challenging for the top teams, and still keep it fun and non-infuriating for the lower rated teams.Smooth Olaf;1642537; said:I'm always apprehensive whenever we talk about messing with the sliders, especially when it's to make games "more realistic."
