I just replied to your PM with my votes. The only question I had was whether it was possible to tone down Home Field advantage? It would be nice to keep but not as drastic as it is now. If it's a yes or no type thing then I vote for taking it off.

I don't think that there is. I actually think that it's the extreme momentum swings more than just homefield. Removing homefield did pass, so we'll re-evaluate after the season, and go from there.

All votes are in. I believe that everything that was proposed was voted for by the majority, but I'll get a tally together and post the results.

Results:

Rule Change:

  1. Limited Cuts Voted for 4-2
    • Users can only sign enough recruits to fill the number of sholarships that they have available. i.e., If you have 15 seniors on your team, then you can only sign 15 players in this year's recruiting class.
    • No Cuts Compromise: Starting in Season 2. Users may oversign up to two players in any give recruiting class. All players that are cut must be new recruits. Once a player has been on the team for one season, they cannot be cut.
    • For this offseason only. You may sign up to 25 recruits, but all players that are cut must also be new recruits.

Settings Changes:
  1. Getting rid of Ice The Kicker. Voted for 5-2
  2. Turning off homefield advantage. Voted for 5-2
  3. Weekly Advance During football season. Will be re-evaluated at a later date. Voted for 3-2
  4. Adding a 9th team to the "conference". Voted for 6-1
    • I'd have to play around with the schedules a little, but I think that I could add Notre Dame to everyone's schedule. That would give us 8 human opponents though, so let me know what you think about adding another player, if we have anyone interested in joining.
    • I still haven't tested if this is even possible.

I didn't vote. Which is why there are only 7 votes for most of the "issues".

I'll post the new recruiting rule in post #1 before we advance to the offseason.

I'll try to run a few sims tonight, to see if adding Notre Dame to everyone's schedule is possible before I pursue a ninth player.

Yet another turd laid by EA. I was going to look for some kickass varsity sliders that would be good for user games. The problem is, that all sliders go back to the default 50, for all user games. If we go to varsity, then human games will be played at the varsity level, with no slider adjustments...not going to happen. I'm going to keep us set on all-american for now. I may try to find a decent set of all-american or heisman sliders for the 4-5 cpu games in season 3, but I'm not going to dick with it too much for season 2. At a pace of one advance per week, we should have plenty of time to check out a fuck load of slider possibilities for season 3.

I think All American on this years game is fine

its like basically Heisman on last years game

id hate to see the ridiculous [censored] the computer does on Heisman this year after the [censored] thats happened to me on All American
