I will try to do that after work if I remember, which could be any time after 5 pm or so. My gamertag is Millikin.GomerBucks;1880428; said:Are you going to post those rosters for download?

Switched up to a multi-D play book and made some personnel adjustments to the 2-4-5 package. 7 game win streak later, I love the results. The options and directions to bring pressure, creative zone blitzing, the lack of match-up issues I'm facing from hurry up teams while maintaining the ability to shut down the inside run game.
Never been happier to make the adjustment.
I use it if I catch the defense in a mismatch against my personnel, or I know the team I am playing has inferior talent or poor STA.OmahaBeef;1881555; said:Yeah, I've seen more people doing the hurry-up recently, too. What is that about? I don't understand what the advantage is, as long as the person playing defense knows how to audible/call plays fast.
Smooth Olaf;1881817; said:My problem defending the hurry-up is a programming flaw. It would be a lot easier with previous play-calling screens. You know, when four plays are on the screen at a time and you could fly to what you want. Now, I have to remember just what I want and exactly where it is. If a guy calls a hurry up, I might think, "I need to do an zone blitz. The one I like is play 24 of 40." And then I have to go as fast as I can to it. If there's any lag, I need to be lucky to stop the play on the one I want. Also, since the diagram of the play doesn't always pop up on time, well, I'm just screwed. I've had it happen too often where my opponent goes into the hurry up, the lag causes me to call play 25 instead of play 24, there's no diagram of play 25, and I have no idea what defense I'm calling.

OmahaBeef;1881901; said:In my experience, it is pretty easily to screw somebody over if they are using the same passing play a couple plays in a row. Typically if someone does that, I just go from a zone to man, or man to zone. Usually if a play is working against one, it won't work as well against the other. (Or at least the route they are expecting to be open wont be.)
I guess I just generally keep my play calling pretty simple on defense... A couple blitzes with man D behind, cover 1 man and cover 2 man, cover 3 and a couple zone blitzes. That's about it. Most of the time I run cover 3 or a blitz with cover 0 behind it.
