Hopefully the speed slider will actually work, and reduce that stuff. However, I do want there to be an advantage to having fast players. If pursuit angles and zone coverage have been fixed, then having speed re-introduced as a factor in the game would be welcomed by me.

Wasn't the Madden slider for speed just a change for the total game play, not necessarily a speed differentiators between players? Interesting that there is a slider that changes the SPD effectiveness. Agree with IBI, there needs to be an advantage for having speed players, as long as there is a way to compensate for it, even if it means giving up another area

There was a gameplay speed change in Madden, but not this kind of speed slider. I'm actually very excited about this slider. Speed was too important in 09, it didn't mean a damn thing in 10, so now maybe EA got it right in 11.

That would really only suck because I didn't pre-order the game for $40 through EA. Tis the risk I took.

It looks as though my risk will not pay off this year. Word is that EA has clamped down on the stores that sell early, the NW Ohio stores in particular.

It looks as though I'll be spending $60 for a Tuesday release. Unless anyone knows of any other Ohio stores that sell early (preferably Northern Ohio).

Got a friend who's a is a MOD/2nd key at our local gamestop for the weekends- not sure how but he said I can come in between breaks pickup my copy then he'll just scan and "sell" it on realese day.

Pretty pumped about that.

rememeber basebuck's 98 and 99 speed WR tandem on Texas A&M? I could play freaking prevent and those guys would still get behind my secondary

Yeah, I remember that. You know what else I remember, but from 10? YOU. In our first Super League game between LSU and Texas, I remember your damn DE staying stride-for-stride with Trindon "99 Speed? LOL You!" Holiday on a crossing route. I had him run the whole damn way and couldn't get any separation.

Man, I hope these sliders work.
