Either way it's slightly better, and again the fluff (online dynasty) is fun, but with their monopoly on the game, why bother actually improving the product and making players actually run intelligently? :(

I don't recall him putting the CB #24 in at RB first, but maybe thats how he got away with it, either way it was stupid as shit, and I felt like I was playing NCAA 2005 online, not 2009....
Or he put him in at QB, and he was the backup QB package.

Gotta love cheesers. Had a guy doing the "rocket catch" on me last night. He didn't do it 100% of the time or else I would have stopped it. But anytime I stopped him on 1st down or it was a critical 3rd down he would just heave it down for Jeremy Maclin.

I just need to improve my DB stick skills to stop that in the future.

Thankfully my online dynasty games are cheese free.

Ok, anyone gone through the first year of dynasty so far? For me dynasty is the reason I buy the game year after year, I love it and recruiting, and usually I am great at recruiting, till this year. So after being #1 for 20+ prospects and having a lot of prospects drop me from #1, I only signed 5 prosepcts my first year....while 15+ prospects didn't sign with anyone....needless to say I am not going to continue this dynasty, i will start a new year. I have absolutely no idea what i did wrong...
I recently restarted my dynasty, and led for many recruits throughout the season. Then, towards the end, many started picking other schools. It didn't make much sense either, since I needed them to replace juniors that I knew were going to be leaving early because their stats were so good. In older versions, that used to help reel them in, but they've apparently tweaked this part of the recruiting this year.

Also, it looks like they aren't providing many 80+ OVR rated freshman. I got the #1 OLB, and I think he came in at 80 OVR. A top 2 or 3 QB was only upper 80s, and the 14th QB was a 72. #3 HB was only an 80 OVR too, IIRC. I actually like this better, as their seemed to be too many studs available as true frosh in older versions.

What is this rocket catch that you speak of? I only ask so I can stay away from a seemingly unstoppable, by you, play when we play in week 2.:sneaky:

Some of the funniest commentary i've seen on a youtube video...

"The game wants to make the molecular structure of the defensive tackle right there just mean absolutely nothing."

"I might as well get a etch-a-sketch and make a game, and call it football"

"these people are like sheep...sheepeople"

Haha my bad we should have, but I hit the hay right after that last loss to LSU... oh well I don't have class all week this week so the chances of me being on NCAA 09 alot and being able to catch all of shark week are real good! Look for me sometime this evening or tonight, I'm OSUKickass47 on the PS3.

I'm guessing thats what he did, because he would do constant hurry ups and I swore that without pressing start Sanchez came back in for CB #24 during a couple of series and it kinda threw me off. I'd be doing the DE Contain for CB #24 while he tried hurry-ups then Sanchez would come back in and I'd be stuck with that defense or audibles until I called timeout or he decided to stop being such a douche.

Welp just tore up Georgia again. I had my best game with Beanie in this one and he really helped me set the pace of the game early.. he had 85 yards rushing at the end of the 1st quarter. Overall, Beanie torched Georgia for 204 yards off 27 carries and had 2 TD's and another 65 yard explosion to the left side of the field, no one came close. Boeckman was solid with 150 yards a TD and an INT. 143 of his yards went to Robiskie who was just clutch off the play-action. Defensively I sat alot of guys back and my Dline got great penetration to really f Stafford up. Ended up with 6 INTs, broken down as is:

Andre Amos: 2 picks
James Laurinaitis: 1 pick for a TD
Donald Washington: 1 pick for a TD and a Reggie Bush move on the sideline to cut back to the middle of the field for the TD
Anderson Russell: 1 pick
Marcus Freeman: 1 pick

Final score 42-28 good guys.
