We will make that a rule for our online dynasty on the 360...I love the idea!! If you have an idea of how you want to do this, where you want to put them (seperate from the big highlight/pic thread) go ahead and take care of it or if you want to put this in our OFFICIAL THREAD, let me know and we can figure a place to put them.

Ok, anyone gone through the first year of dynasty so far? For me dynasty is the reason I buy the game year after year, I love it and recruiting, and usually I am great at recruiting, till this year. So after being #1 for 20+ prospects and having a lot of prospects drop me from #1, I only signed 5 prosepcts my first year....while 15+ prospects didn't sign with anyone....needless to say I am not going to continue this dynasty, i will start a new year. I have absolutely no idea what i did wrong...

I just beat a guy online using texas tech..He was the sooners. First off I'll start by saying that Harrell is a hell of a qb...With that being said I completed 50 of 54 passes on 5 minute quarters...Something that is just hard for me to sit there and accept...So this is wide open gameplay..Well if harrell goes 150/162 in a real game this year,then I won't bitch at all..

It's hard to believe that this is their best effort at ea. I'm all for next year having different difficulty levels....Childrens (wide open play),varsity,all american,heisman and realistic.Just because kids don't want to play a game that ends 7-3 doesn't mean it shouldn't happen..

It's nice to see that they took the giant leaps and rocket up a linebacker's ass type catches. The only problem with that is they left the short passing game "wide open"..Almost a typical overcompensation from EA.

I was totally pumped for this game,and now it just sits there. I will never ever believe a damn thing anyone from ea says again..I seen some of the programmers at various forums making comments about the game. Sure I appreciate they took the time to actually show up and do that this year,but why not incorporate some of these guys ideas? Why do people once again have to be beta testers for the following years game? What is this microsoft?

If you want to watch someone from ea squirm. Just ask them "does the computer AI defense know what play you are running?"...I have never seen one guy answer this yes...At the same time do some labbing on your own..You could pass 50 times in a row,and the defense will more then likely be sitting in a zone dime or nickel coverage...Audible down to the same shotgun formation you are in but with a running play and watch what happens...EVERY single time..100% blitz ratio..Cmon..This disc is good for a fido to catch in his mouth as a frisbee replacement. Hopefully madden once again is the closest thing we can get to a real game...Ncaa arcade football is a joke..Go balls out and call it ncaa blitz like the old game where you just ran around and beat the shit out of your opponent after the play..I'm sure that would appeal to kids more..

I think I'm going down that road. I've had a bunch of guys listing me as their #1 school until recently....now they're starting to commit elsewhere. Not really sure what the problem is. I've kept in contact with them throughout.

We have been looking into the issues that some people are experiencing with games not being updated and people having their dynasty "hijacked" the last two days. The engineers have found the problem, but aren't yet sure how it is happening. We are probably going to take a preventative approach if we cannot find the bug.

In a nutshell, files aren't always getting uploaded to the correct locker but instead to someone else. Our server guys have estimated this effects 2% the lockers.

We have found that we can repair broken dynasties by removing the bad files from affected lockers. We used Pasta Padre as a test case because we have contact info for him and it seems to have worked. We have been also using the following gamertag's lockers for investigating the problem and will attempt to fix them next:

If the owners over the above gamertags read this post, please PM me with an email address and phone number in case we have some questions to help narrow this down.

Once we have figured out how to fix all the issues, we are going to run an automated script against all lockers to clear the issue, then prevent it from happening again. Right now it looks like all the fixes will be server side and not require a patch.

On the subject of a second patch, we are planning on getting it out a couple weeks earlier than originally planned. So I should have an update for what is going to be fixed in it pretty soon.

Hopefully they get this fixed ASAP

Yeah, one reason I don't mind waiting to start the online dynasties. And did they give an update on how far along the roster patch is? I know it has now been sent to Sony/Microsoft. So if things go well that first patch might be out by the end of this week or on the weekend.

Well, there is some stuff that is already in the patch. This is stuff we identified and started on before the game hit shelves. Now that more issues are coming out we are identifying the ones we want to fix the most. I was going to do an official patch announcement of some kind when I knew, and still will, but I'll give a sneak peak based on what I know cause I love your avatar so much.

We fixed 2 recruiting exploits
Fixed a rare online desynch
Added half time highlights
Changed custom sounds so you can hear your opponent's while on the road
Fixed the exploit that custom sounds will tip you off when your opponent is going to fake punt/kick on 4th down
That's all I can remember off the top of my head. There are some others but I don't have the patch list in front of me as I'm posting at home right now.

It is still up in the air as to the stuff that we didn't have identified until the game went public. They are all on the gameplay team so I am not involved in their decision whether or not to fix them. The NCAA team's top two issues we want fixed is kick coverage and sliders.

It is best to wait on an official announcement, because any of this could change at any minute. I'll let everyone know once everything is locked down and finished, cause I don't want to mislead anyone. ONCE AGAIN, these aren't promises!

It's good to see they are going to improve this game DRASTICALLY...and in time for the real football season start is AWESOME!!!
