NCAA 12 (PS3) 4th Annual Online Dynasty Thread

No worries. It happens to everybody. I was lucky to go through an OD season in NCAA 11 without a game freeze or two.

I had a total of three of them (only one of them in this dynasty) last nighit before I gave up and switched to Netflix. I didn't have this problem at all with last year's game. The worst ones are where it freezes after you try to exit a completed game. What a waste.

Yeah, that's such bullshit.

I had a game in my offline dynasty that was epic, tOSU vs Sparty on Heisman, 3OT, won it on a pick 6. What happens? Nessler does the wrapup with Herbie, followed by the camera slowly panning around the field. Fucking horseshit.

I had that problem a ton last year. But so far I have lucked out this year. But honestly, I have only played 2-3 games in 2012 outside of the OD. So my frequency of playing may have something to do with that.

Is there a way to force the CPU to recruit? Not ideal, I know, but I'm barely finding time to get my game in, let alone recruit.

I know in my offline, if I don't recruit the CPU just does it. However, in this dynasty, I've gone about 3 weeks without recruiting, and the CPU hasn't done shit.

Anyone know if I need to toggle a setting?

There are recruiting assistance settings you can toggle. I forget precisely what part of the menu they fall under... Coach Philosophy or something like that.

Have you tried recruiting over the web on your computer? That's what I do about 90% of the time. They've really improved it over last year - I've had none of the problems that I had with it before.

Yeah, I got those settings checked. I think I'm wrong though, because I had a ton of soft commits, so I guess they are doing something.

As far as doing it online, I used to always do that, but honestly just haven't had the time. I try to get my game in, but usually by the time I'm done I have no interest in the recruiting. It's a hard life

Edit: No user v. user games this week.

Dang, this means I have to wait til I get home and log on til I find out if I stole a recruit from Bluffton
