NCAA 12 (PS3) 4th Annual Online Dynasty Thread

Double Dang... so I had alot more visits than the people that committed this week... so of course I can't wait til I get home so log onto the website with my cellphone to see the damage.... more freaking bad news.

Damn my recruiting went to hell in a handbasket. 1st off all visits were A+, and I only got 1 stinking commit? 2nd... NO SOFT VERBALS! 3rd... Well, actually there were 4 soft verbals... to other teams as with only being 100-200 pts behind I couldn't even pull ahead. 4th... only one guy on a visit did move up to #1

In the end... the UGLY stats...

11 Total Visits
1 Commit
5 Commits to other teams
4 Soft Verbals to other teams
1 Guy moved from #2 to #1 without soft verbal

So looks like Ole Miss is going to be reorganizing my recruit board to find new recruits... son of a BITCH!

Last season, you had a ton of guys visit, didn't get the results that you thought you should've, and a week later had a bunch of commits...no?

Well, when I whiffed last year I did get a bunch of soft verbals along with the guys I missed, but they were my backup plans. If I got 3-4 soft verbals from this I wouldn't be calling it a disaster. Plus I didn't have backup guys this year :(

Alright hurry up and advance. I pretty much whiffed on having a big class this year, I am hoping to get some quality. And they are mostly visiting this week, VS. freaking Are-kansas.

At least you have a sniff of hope with the visit results pending... plus I need you to fuck up so I have a shot of winning the SEC in 4-5 seasons...

Who the fuck is Bo Coleman? Is he an athlete that we were both going after?

No, he's a straight up WR who gave me an insta-commit last week.

You know, I thought being the only swinging dick west of the Mississippi would give me a leg up in recruiting. Boy, was I wrong. USC is just crushing me.

So no recruiting limits for USC in this game? That would be awesome if they did.

Yeah, it is crazy recruiting down south with Tenneessee, Clemson, Georgia Tech & Ole Miss. Scary thing is alot of guy also have interest in West Virginia too? He must have a Florida pipeline.

If it isn't a dire need, I don't even try for some recruits if I am 8-10 and 2-3 of the other users are in the top 5

Just checked, and he wasn't one of the two that I'm going hard for. The WR that I signed is actually an athlete, and it doesn't look like signing him had a negative effect on the other two (only one of which actually has an offer from me).

The 5* DT that fanatic and I have been fighting LSU for just moved me from 3rd to to 1st this week, and gave me a soft verbal. I'm now one point ahead of LSU and 60 points ahead of Tennessee. Hopefully I can hold off fanatic this week, since it's his turn for a visit.

By, "I'm not going to advance during that time," I meant that I won't advance twice during that time. Assuming fanatic gets his game in Sunday, I'll advance once everyone's done, but then not again until fanatic gets back. Basically, he's not getting simmed.

Okay, so our favorite DT has now switched his Soft Commit to UT, but GT and LSU are both -1 with a trip to LSU pending on the 14th. It's clear Stewart loves the recruiting game and will be a malcontent once he's on camputs. IBI, you should probably just drop him all together and let him be someone elses headache. :wink2:

My visits had value of moving up the board for a few guys, but I didn't get as many commits as I was hoping. I wonder if they tweaked their formulas at EA to make the visits less powerful than previous years.
