This week will be very interesting. Time to find out what happens when a recruit visits two schools the same weekend. I think Iron and me have 2-3 recruits visiting both our schools this weekend. So should be fun.

Too bad Maryland isn't a rival of Georgia Tech :sneaky:
Vandy isn't a rival for Ole Miss, right? Also, I only noticed one recruit that was visiting both places. That's not to say that there isn't two or three. Just that I wasn't paying close enough attention to the others.

Of course Vandy is a rival :paranoid: don't you know every game in the SEC is a rival game? :pimp:

But yeah, Vandy is one of Ole Miss's 5 (FIVE!) rivalry games. One reason I picked the Rebels! Ole Miss rivals are: Vandy, Arkansas, Alabama, LSU & Mississippi State. So far LSU/Miss St trade off as my late rivalry game as they play in the last 2 weeks of the season (LSU is home this yr) and then the Vandy/Alabama/Arkansas games are normally in the Wk6-10 sweet spot for 'early' visits.

I thought there was at least one other guy we are fighting over, and I know we are recruiting some other guys together. I assume the one you know about is the stud QB that you and me are fighting over. No clue how you moved to #1 last week, you probably got the gift of a 2x week, right?

I'm #1? FSU has been in the lead all year. You're right. The 2x gift came at the right time for me. :banger:

I know... pissed me off FSU was in the lead as they haven't even offered him (I hate that by the way... you are the only offer but you can't get past the #1 school that hasn't offered, and even more fun when they soft verbal to that school without an offer)

So you got the 2x gift last week eh? Hmmmm, maybe I am due for it this week... right before he comes in for a his sure A+ visit he will have

How pissed will you be if he doesn't commit to either of us and FSU somehow moves back to #1 with a soft verbal there without a verbal? I know my head will explode.

I think that the 2x was for the QB. It might have been for someone else, it all kind of blurs together after awhile.

I'll be slightly upset if he goes anywhere but Georgia Tech, because he might be able to start as a true frosh. I have plenty of quality guys that can play next season, but I'm graduating a 5th year senior, this guys size, speed, acceleration, and throwing skills should be enough to put him over the top of guys with slightly higher awareness ratings.

Also, I'm sure that my Coach Prestige rating being stuck at 'D' has hurt me. Simply because I didn't know that not taking over as Paul Johnson was going to fuck me over, with that pitch, until the end of time.

I'll have to remember to check on his rating for Coach Prestige and negative recruit the heck out of it

While he won't play his freshman year since I will have two senior QBs next season that will be rated in the 90s, I have NO ONE behind them. So he will redshirt and then proceed to start the next 4 years.

Plus, who would want to run that gawd awful option you run

Speaking of which, when I played Iron, the Team Select screen said he ran an Air Attack offense. I thought, "Hmmm, he's changing it up." My first defense I called was to defend against the pass, and out he comes running the option.

The evil of custom playbooks

At one time the best power run offense I could find to start my custom playbook was a Air Raid offense... weird, eh?

But I found a different playbook to base mine off of when I revamped it... like that helps any cuz I still suck on offense

Weird. My base playbook is Navy. All I did was add/remove some plays...not the formations or scheme.

EDIT: Nevermind. I used my "Test" playbook against you and DTC. That was still based off of one of the flexbone teams, but had some pistol, ace, and weak I to go along with flexbone.

Go Maryland!

Er...I just gave up on that DE. I was way too far behind, and his visit only moved me up to 4th on his list.
Good. I'm barely holding off stanford at the moment, and my d-line needs help. The last thing I need is for you to recruit against me, while Stanford runs me down.

This week will be the decider for whether I continue to go after the stud DT that fanatic and are trailing LSU for. I think fanatic is 220 behind, and I'm 240 behind, with my visit being this week and fanatic's next week. LSU doesn't have him visiting until week 14. If I can't overtake fanatic AND close the gap with LSU, then I'm just wasting my time, and I have other d-linemen on my board that I need to focus on.

It's like Xmas Eve... Big Visit week for Iron and I and the recap Olaf posts will either let us know if we got all of our presents we wanted or some lumps of coal...

Can't wait for this advance coming up...

I haven't liked my recruiting this season as I am #2 or #3 for too many guys I really need. I am really hoping the visits give me the good ol move to #1 and commit news. I have a small senior class of 13 and really did a targeted approach and if I don't hit my guys I am going to have to scramble...

C'mon Olaf... the suspense is killing me... ADVANCE ALREADY :p

Who the fuck is Bo Coleman? Is he an athlete that we were both going after?

Thank god Williams finally signed with ND...that was a slow, agonizing death.
