I have good news and bad news. The good news is that yes, this technique did indeed bring my roster down to 70. I couldn't drop the true freshmen I wanted so I dropped some upperclassmen who weren't starting. The bad news...EA took those freshmen, anyway! Yup, the guys I was trying to cut are gone. I had three true frosh RBs. I was trying to cut two but couldn't. I did your thing and kept all three RBs. Guess what? All three are gone. Poof. Vanished. Even the one I wanted to keep. I hate this fucking game sometimes.

I was going to say... Iron's method had nothing to do with it. Just looks like an Online bug where it won't show the cuts right til you get to the pre-season. Cuz I did my original cuts and cut two guys I shouldn't have cut.

Then I kept going back in and just cutting enough to get to 70 (originally cut my team down to 68) then I figured if they just took the lowest rated guys I would be fine.

I checked my current roster and the original cuts I made did in fact 'take' and none of my changed cuts after that.

So just don't freak out next time :biggrin:

DTC is Michigan State.

Post #2 has the new schedule. It's Clemson's turn to only have two user v. user games. Everyone else has three, and everyone should have six home and six away games. Let me know if there are any problems. I'll advance to Week 1 sometime tomorrow unless I hear back from everyone tonight.

Really? Damn...I wonder how I did that. I have a nice little table I use to mix up opponents. It doesn't have you playing MD last year. I must have switched it in the game and forgot to update it on my computer.

Yes, I would like to complain about the fact I have to lose to Fanatic twice this season... WTF??? Damn SEC for rotating Tenessee onto my conference schedule.

you'll win this year I'm sure of it. We're too similar for it to be one-sided. My offense will be good but defense is very young. Could see some heartache this year.

This was actually an easy fix. MD now has two user v. user games. Tennessee replaced WV with Clemson.

I'll advance this evening unless anyone else found something wrong with their schedule.
