Yay, EA! I went back to look at my roster and what do you know, I still needed to cut five players. Never mind that I already cut my roster down to 70. No, EA decided to give five of them back to me. I don't want them, EA. I want my damn starters you took from me in the Players Leaving portion of the offseason.

Nice. They added 5 to my roster too. Now I get to do the dance that makes me exit the dynasty, and reload it after every cut. Then, wait an hour, and see if they took. :smash:

EDIT: Maybe I should delete my saved file? I wonder if that's causing this.

Nope. I deleted my save, and I still can't cut these guys. The only thing that I can think of, is that they're all true freshman. What's really bullsit, is that two of the guys are the TE's that I didn't recruit, yet signed with Georgia Tech anyway. Now I can't cut them.

I was able to get mine down to 70 and keep it that way. The way that I did it was to only cut players that have been with the program for one year or more. I couldn't cut any true freshman (I didn't try to cut any of my JUCO guys, but I assume they can't be cut either). So, if you have any dead weight, that isn't a newly arrived recruit, now is the time to get rid of them.

Conference Changes:

Big XII conference games start in Week 5.

The following schools are now in the Big East:

  • Boise State
  • Houston
  • Memphis
  • SMU
  • San Diego State
  • UCF
I'd combine the MWC and C-USA, but the game won't allow me to just get rid of an entire conference. So I'm not even going to worry about it.

Advanced to the preseason.

DTC, you've been re-invited. You can choose any 4* and below school from the Big East (Not Syracuse or Pitt), B1G, Big XII, and Pac-12 South. You can also choose any mid-major or independent team not named Notre Dame, unless Notre Dame is a 4* prestige school. If you still want Purdue, they should be available.

I'll create schedules once DTC chooses a team.

Edit: Speaking of schedules, remember when I said the Big XII was now going to start conference games in Week 5? Yeah, so much for that. EA played another trick on me and they're starting Week 1.
