Lamana is on the clock.

That is a rather crappy coaching carousel. Win a NC at AF and get offered OC and DC at two decent programs? No HC opportunities.
Guess I am disappointed thinking I was going to be able to bolt.

Funny story. One job is listed under "Unexpected Jobs." That's the Defensive Coordinator for Ohio. That's because Jimmy Burrow (B+) left to take the HC job at Ohio. Under filled positions, Ohio's status says, "Phil Piney (C+) had his contract expire." Ole Miss decided to keep Houston Nutt for one more year. Sorry, Piney. I have no idea what's up with you now.

Worst case I just leave the dynasty and come back. You would think that would let me take over Ohio, right? But will wait til the end of this crappy carousel.

Just extended my contract with Southern Miss. Kent State Head Coach & Louisiana Tech Head Coach were available for me. Shadedeh is on the clock and NC State O-Coord & Temple Head coach are now available.

Just signed 3year contract with fresno. but before i back out of the pop up and look at the contracts that were available to me. Didn't like any of them but when I would view my contact it said year 2 of a 3 year HC fresno state didn't sign anything. Hit ready to advance, but it still said I was on the clock. Went to view contact said year 2 of 3with fresno. log off then back on to see if it would tell me who was next but the same pop up can up so I just singed a new 3 year with fresno then said taylorbuck is on the clock don't know if I mess things up but sorry if I did

It did the same thing with me; telling me I was still on the clock; but when I went to the Dynasty scree it said Lamana was on the clock. You should be okay. If not, I screwed up too.

Sorry, my earlier post wasn't clear enough. I'm retiring from the league. This game, with all the bugs, simply isn't fun for me. EA has been really slow at releasing patches and the last patch was a clusterfuck.

It sucks, b/c this league is fun, but the game right now simply isn't catching my interest.

I got back home last night. I should be able to hop on sometime tonight, though it may have to be after the Buckeyes play.

Just set myself as ready to advance. I still had a year on my contract with Troy, so I assume that keeps me in that position. It looked like I was the leading candidate to be the OC at Kentucky, and I also could have applied to be the HC at Marshall. The latter seemed like a step down though, plus it wasn't listing me among the top three candidates to it looked risky.

Interestingly, I could have applied to be either the OC or DC at Southern Miss under "Unexpected Jobs". I'm sure the league would have divided by zero if I tried to take one of those spots.

Interesting.....wonder if it would even be possible for both of us to play a game at the same time
