NBC Comedy: The Office, Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock, Community

I was laughing my ass off when Andy was saying all of his nicknames.. "puke" because he partied so hard, "ace" because he aced all of his classes, and "buzz" because he got straight b's.

The other thing that cracked me up was when he was playing that instrument and he brought back the "roo too do do" like he did here:

I caught one episode a few years ago, and wasn't impressed at all. I had seen a marathon of the UK version, and thought it was far better.

On the advice of someone here on BP, and after seeing other posters rave about it, I checked out the six available episodes on hulu...and I fucking love this show. One of my top five all time favorites. I must've seen the one shitty episode in it's entire run, because I've caught about 12 to date, and I laugh out loud during every one of them.

Thank God for BP, because I probably wouldn't have ever watched this show, and I'd have been missing out.

You have just summarized every single one of my friends that I told to start watching the show. They would finally agree, and the episode they'd watch would be the lamest one of the season. It even happened when I finally convinced my parents to watch it. I finally just guaranteed everyone that they would like it if they rented a season on dvd and dedicated a few hours to watching a few episodes.

I think the problem is that this isn't a show that people can just jump into in the middle of season 3 and expect to get everything. I'm sure it makes it even worse that they have heard how funny it is from everyone else, and when they don't know the background to the jokes or characters, it just seems that much more annoying.

The episodes I watched were from...eh, it wasn't the first season anyway. That really didn't bother me. I still thought it was fucking hilarious. The first episode I watched since being disappointed earlier was "morroccan christmas", and I literally had tears in my eyes when Dwight tried to sit down on his hollow chair and put his briefcase on the hollow desk.

 It makes me laugh just thinking about it.

I also watched the youtube compilation of Jim V Dwight..and I was hooked after that.
