This season has been pretty damn good so far, IMO. Pleasant surprise after I had all but written it off.

I agree with the exception being Andy's play last week. That was one of the worst episodes in the history of the show in my imo (can I steal that term?)

Lots of great lines and pranks tonight. Would have been a classic episode if not for the ongoing insistence on love drama & leadership drama.

Remember when Darrell was funny? We got Jim back somewhat (when he isn't caught in absurd relationship stuff), but now we lost Darrell.

Another solid episode. Dwight pranking Jim was classic. :lol;

I disagree - I didn't think the episode was that good. It was over and my wife and I were like, "that was it?!?"

Although I do agree that Dwight demeaning Jim was pretty funny.

I think that might have been the worst episode yet.

Drunk Andy in this episode was completely different and infinitely more annoying than Drunk Andy back in the day when he was in Stamford.

The whole father-daughter thing at the end between Erin & Michael was weird - and not in a funny weird way, or even in a give-them-credit-for-trying-to-be funny way. It was more Amazon pedophile book weird.

The Erin and Gabe characters both suck. It's sad that they keep going back to the love triangle thing. It was interesting when it was Jim-Pam-Roy or Karen-Jim-Pam. It was at least strangely entertaining, while also sadly exaggerated when it was Dwight-Angela-Andy. Andy-Erin-Gabe just comes of as desperate and ham-fisted.

Maybe I'm just numb to michael, erin and gabe being worthless /creepy and andy not knowing about humor.

I've accepted mediocrity and can appreciate the diversions from that. It is nothing like the first 3-4 years, but at least there is some humor. There were many episodes last year where I didn't laugh once.

I agree on the relative strength of this season. For me, other than last night it has been much stronger that the last couple, though certainly nowhere near the first few seasons.

I've enjoyed this season 10x more than any of the past three so far. Last nights episode was so-so...had some genuinely funny stuff, but some really bad stuff too. The Michael/Erin stuff at the end was just weird...I actually thought they were gonna kiss for a moment. The Gabe and Erin characters get way too much of Stanley/Kevin/Creed's screen time.

I have to agree about the Michael/Erin part at the end. When he started doing the dad thing I was like WTF.

When I watched this, the first thing I thought of was Erin. The second thing was that this was a better actress.

If you break that girl's heart, I will kill you... It's just a figure of speech. But seriously, if you break that girl's heart, I will literally kill you and your entire family.

Darryl If I was a girl, and I had to choose between the tall dude who loves Asia, and a you-looking dude who loves sweaters, and wearing sweaters, I'd choose you.

Andy That's really nice, thank you.

Darryl And I'd blow your mind.
