dragged a little, but there hasn't been a bad episode yet.
It did at some points, but there was enough good stuff mixed in to keep it interesting
- The opening with everybody puking
- Michael trying to find a room
- The awkward toast
- Andy's dancing mishap
- Dwight's sexual conquest
- Meredith asking about the "gift etiquette"
- Kevin's shoes being a "safety hazard"
- Jim's solution to Pam's vail tearing
- Michael's interaction with Pam's mom (a different actress from her mom's prior appearance, different character too)

A lot of times, the hour long episodes have focused too much on the "dumb/obvious humor". This one was more subdued and played to their strengths w/the awkwardness. It also managed to work in the entire cast, which is one of it's strengths. The season is off to a much stronger start than the past two. Hopefully they can keep it going.

I thought it was extremely funny. I didn't watch the first few seasons, so if NFBuck is right, sounds like it's time to catch up...
The first two seasons are some of the funniest TV ever IMO. Season three had plenty of moments/great episodes, but was spotty. Season four and five were mediocre/downright bad at times. This season is picking back up playing to their strengths, something they got away from the past two seasons.

I really liked the episode. It was definately very good. But I don't know if they'll ever match the wit and writing from the first two seasons. I'd stack 'Diversity Day', 'Health Care' and 'Basketball' from S1 and 'Sexual Harrassment', 'Email Surveillance', 'Christmas Party', 'The Injury, 'The Carpet' and 'Drug Testing' from S2 against anything ever put on TV. Just so many classic moments.

Go buy seasons 1 & 2 on dvd or find them online...you won't regret it.

I forgot maybe the best moment...the turtle wandering out of Dwight's gift.

I agree with you those episodes are awesome and some of the best, but I think you have to throw this weeks episode into the mix as well. I was practically laughing the whole episode (which I also did for pretty much every episode you listed above). The variety of humor this week made this week a great one.

Tonights Episode = AWESOME

I'll just date her harder then!!! :slappy:

I thought it was pretty good. I like that they got back to the Jim/Dwight hi-jinx, but Pam's character has annoyed me more and more lately. It just seems forced, fake, over the top, etc. Not the same Pam from the earlier episodes.

My thoughts exactly. Her character sucks, and I hate her and Jim's whole marriage/pregnant story. Other than that, this season has been much better than the previous few so far.
