NBA Finals - Celtics vs. Lakers

Paul Pierce is making Kobe Bryant look like a rookie, this series is over tonight. Theres a few of the Lakers that are into the game, but most of the players have rolled over, the technicals, the stupid fouls, these guys don't have the heart to continue.

boston needs garnett so odom will stop getting the low post slop...LA can't stop pierce....but it is still a long way from over and I cant see LA losing their last game at home tonight...but i think game 6 looks very tough for LA just because boston doesnt start slow at home

If I was a betting man, I would bet that LA loses this series tonight. Right now, the Lakers can't stop anyone, the Celtics have complete control of this game with their bench. They let Kobe have his shots in the first quarter, and then locked him down.

Another hot Lakers start, another Celtics comeback.

I do think Perkins' absence could come into play, especially with Garnett sitting a lot of the first half with fouls. PJ Brown is almost as old as me, and he got a lot more minutes in the first half than usual. He could wear down late, and Powe is a question mark despite his big game two.

I still think LA pulls this one out and sends it back to Boston, but I hope I'm wrong. Beat LA! :)

i think boston keeps it close but comes up a bit short...dont get me wrong i want to end it tonight but i see LA winning on some short flukey play in the 4th..but i think boston wins if it goes to game 6

Well, The announcers referred to Jackson as the best coach in the business today and I believe that but he better pull one out of his butt now,

Simply put, the Celtics are better than the Lakers, at every position, Paul Pierce has better defense than Kobe, and Kobe's defense isn't enough to stop him. Allen owns fisher, Garnett is just eating Gasol for breakfast and Odom doesn't really have the ability to take over the game. Plain and simple, Jackson may be a great coach, but he's outmatched at every position, this proves one thing to me, the Eastern Conference is much better than the West this year.

The Lakers play soft defense in that when someone drives to the hoop no one steps in front to stop him. They prefer to swat at the ball looking for a block to taking a charge. Pierce has taken advantage of it all series long.
