Well, I am not happy with the first half, seeing as how it's the same exact points we were up in game one and managed to screw it up, but I am impressed with the energy, we are actually defending the ball and taking it inside, which is what they should be doing. However, even with all this good play, the Celtics are still in an a position to steal this game, since the third quarter has been a bitch for the Lakers.

I agree the Lakers are trying to take it to the Celts more. Thats Jackson coaching and doing a good job of it. It will be interesting to see what adjustments Rivers makes in the second half.

Sunday the Celts win in a game where they shot 38 FTs to the Lakers 10. Tonight the Lakers are up 22-7 in FT attempts.

And on the front page of Yahoo there is an article on NBA rigged games that includes quotes from Tim Donaghy like this one:

Without identifying anyone or naming teams, Tim Donaghy also claimed the NBA routinely encouraged refs to ring up bogus fouls to manipulate results but discouraged them from calling technical fouls on star players to keep them in games and protect ticket sales and television ratings.

Lends credence to the rumor that the Cavs just signed Hulk Hogan.

In yur dreams, but it looks very possible the way this game is going. And if Boston wins tonight I would bet some vbucks on it . Especially if the Elitist vbankers around here would make the bet. That would just about take the heart out of the Lakers .

Now Rondo is hurt. All he has is hops so a bad wheel could be a real problem. Celts need to find a way to win this one if he's going to be out because Eddie House is a big step down.
