I think this is similar to when Candace Parker won the McD's dunk contest a few years back. Yes, it's impressive what they did, but I don't think either was the best.
Exactly. Nate earned his finals bid, but he didn't do a dunk on par with the sideglass or 12'er.

Also, why are 9 of 10 Nate Robinson dunk passes caught within 3 feet of the rim? I get it, he's short, but give me some variety here.

The sideboard dunk was the best of the night for two reasons:

1. When Howard caught the ball with his right hand, it was a good two feet outside the backboard, and he still made the dunk with ease.

2. He made it the first time ... which is always an underrated aspect of any dunk.

But the Nate Robinson dunk over Howard was easily the most awkward. What did DW think when he had Nate's nuts on his head?

I didn't post it at the time, but did anybody else think that the green ball that Nate used on his dunk over Howard was undersized?

The green ball looked a little small to me, and I thought that the whole green thing could have been a distraction so people didn't notice that he was using a smaller ball in order to hang onto it while leaping over Howard.

If it was, he did a good job of keeping it a secret.
