NBA Discussion (Official Thread)

I just got around to looking at some mock drafts for the Cavs since they are so awful. Please tell me there is no way they draft LaMelo Ball with a high first round pick. Please

"And with the 3rd pick in the 2020 NBA draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select....Cancer. We now go to Lavar Ball for his thoughts....Lavar?"

Is LaMelo even any good?

I was under the impression that the rest of the Ball family weren’t NBA material and they only get discussed because of Lonzo and their dad.

Even busts like Anthony Bennett were good at basketball before being drafted. The remaining Ball bros.? Not so much.

I thought the youngest (not sure the name) was supposed to be the best of the 3

LaMelo is the youngest and he was pretty sweet...

...in the league his dad created.

As a “pro” in Lithuania, he averaged 6.5 pts and 26% shooting in 12 minutes.

Looks like he did well in the Australian NBL. Playing against dingos and roos.

He was on fire.

I guess I don't "get" the NBA. Too many games, too many teams in the playoffs, and the atmosphere at games is mostly manufactured.

I flipped to the All Star game because it's Sunday night in February. I see people who paid a shitload of money excited in the stands. I don't even have the sound on.
