NBA Discussion (Official Thread)

Dumb ass Knicks fans mad they passed on Michael Porter. Lower back surgery in college is a red flag. I wouldn't roll those dice with a lottery pick.

pretty much confirms Lebron is gone in my opinion.

The smart play is to draft as though he's leaving since he hasn't come out and said he's staying. If he does happen to stay (doubtful), drafting a PG isn't a bad idea. You can't keep asking LeBron to be the primary ball handler for 45 minutes at his advancing age (in NBA years). Letting him play off the ball more could extend his career.

Who knows what will happen in the silly season between now and July 1st too... trades will likely happen.. maybe whoever they want to trade with wants Sexton... who knows.

Mavs basically get their Dirk 2.0

Reminds me of the Colts essentially going from Manning to Luck. Will likely play out the same- success with a great player but probably still no championships. Still, lucky sob's.

Impressed with Sexton as far as being a "gamer." Carried Alabama. Was cool what he did in that 3-on-5 game against the Gophers last year. Watched that unfold live and the kid was dying for that game. Can score inside and out, has size.

I still don't think he's all that great though lol. That Brooklyn pick was worth way more before it has the #8 pick label attached to it. Is what it is.

He can ball for sure. Maybe he's the catalyst that gets Love to his Minnesota form. He can also play D so I'd like to see him fuck Curry up for sure.
Could he be an Oladipo type of player if he develops his shot? Wouldnt that be nice
