I think the average sports fan loves the NFL far more than the NBA (many can't stand it), and their judgments get passed through that prejudice.That doesn't excuse it.

The NFL is America's favorite sport, no doubt, and personally if all those arrests were spread out among several teams it may have gotten more attention that way, but since they are all Bengals, I think people think that there is just something wrong with that team and/or ownership and management.

No, it's a culture that too many people aren't comfortable with... so they group them into a little box.

And you're kidding yourself if you don't think the NFL is littered with the same culture.

i never said that the NFL/MLB/NHL/MLS doesn't have this, but the NBA is more publicly visible because of the lifestyles/ties to popular culture.

You know I love you Thump and I am not sure you mean that to come off the way it sounds, but you really can not compare someone with a disability to what these spoiled, overpaid, overpampered athletes choose to portray themselves as. She or anyone else with a disability can't do anything about how they look, but certainly someone like Tyrus Thomas does not have to say dumb shit like "I just want free money."

secondaly I don't think you are getting your panties in a bunch if you are sticking up for something you believe in...
