Though I don't doubt this at all, I can see the rotunda being named by a sponsor

so long as the powers at be are aware of the knee jerk reaction, perhaps it isn't so foolish. anytime you can let those who make the calls know exactly how serious something as "immaterial" as a name is, the better.

My prediction: An announcement of a 12th game sponsorship by Nationwide vs. an in-state opponent.

Otherwise, I could live with something like a small part of the stadium (such as the rotunda or the plaza surounding the stadium) being renamed as long as there is not a lot of guady advertising attached to it.

I have my doubts that they would open a rather large can of worms by putting a name before Ohio Stadium. If so, the outcry will be very large, in the same fashion of the SBC OSU Michigan game.
