Is anyone watching this? It is new and on Netflix now.

The guy who plays Escobar is awesome. Actually, all of the acting is spot on. I really like this show.

If you happen to speak Spanish, just looking at the subtitles, which are maybe half of the show, is very entertaining. The translations are often very far from what I hear. The story is awesome though, and it is definitely worth the watch.

Binge watched the entire season last weekend. Very well done. Curious how it sets up for a second season because I thought was a little too fast paced and that they could have fleshed out some more details (his connection to Narco Soccer, community involvement, etc.).

Watched the first three episodes, and I'm all in. It's very well done. The main character/narrator though sounds so eerily like Brad Pitt (tone, intonation, everything) that it has to be some conscious affectation.

I've got two more episodes to go and have enjoyed all of this series. If you're looking for something to watch that is directly related to this story one of the best ESPN 30 for 30's, Two Escobars (also on netflix), is worth watching.

Hate to break it to you, but she aint the one.

Dude, that is freaking harsh.

Narcos is pretty good though. One doesn't really get involved with any of the characters, which often defines good shows, but there really isn't a chance of that. It is more about representing what really happened.

Seriously though, pay attention to the subtitle translations people. It is really weird. The Spanish will be something like "Of course/clearly I should do that," and the subtitle will say "okay." That is just one I can think of, but it is constant. It is very interesting. Oh, and at one point someone calls someone else a "faggot," and the subtitle said "wimp" or something. I found that hilarious. I've heard that word a lot and have never heard it mean wimp.
