Slander is a lie... He is a blow hard and incompetant but did not lie. Your comments are obviously politically motivated Mililani.
The people here in San Antonio, are all hyped up about the Saints! They want more football games. But, the Saints would need to put a better product on the field. Aaron Brooks, would not put fannies in the stands. They need more star power.

At the rate the Saints are going (and figure to go - tougher portions of the schedule coming up), they could easily find themselves in position to take one of the top QBs coming into the draft.
schedule ino ---
As for those star QBS - take your pick... here are the early ranknigs from nfldraftcountdown.com (strange not to see Stanton in this list)
Maybe because he's a junior and they aren't expecting him to come out?
Young's a junior, too, and IIRC he's been pretty vocal about staying for his senior year.
At least www.nfldraftcountdown.com has a nice banner:
![]()
He also has Hawk as #1 and Carpenter as #5 OLBs and Schlegel as #7 ILB...
I don't suppose the #5 OLB would last into the second round so that the Browns could draft both of them? :p
Well, seeing as only two LBs (both OLBs) were taken in the first round this past draft, I'd say the chance of Carp being available in round 2 is pretty good.
There is a good chance, but with his pass rushing ability, I say hes a late 1st rounder.
I would looooooooove to see the Browns get him though...
As for San Antonio, I love the city but I can't imagine it is big enough to support a pro team. Look at some of the other small markets that are struggling. TV revenue is the golden goose of course.
First of all, I said "Bordering on slander"...get thicker reading glasses. And just how are my comments "politically motivated"? I couldn't care less who's the mayor of Nawlins, just as long as they're somewhat competent, don't leave their constituents behind in a hurricane, and spend too much time doing things other that what they should be doing. Run out of Geritol this morning?
