N.I.T. (Official Thread)

Iowa beat Dayton, 84-75. Northwestern leads Akron 42-34 at halftime. I'd like to see the Mildcats make it to NYC.

Seton Hall of the mighty Big East barely held off Stony Brook, 63-61.

Washington tied at halftime with Texas-Arlington. Sure are making a great case for more teams from the SUC12.

On the flip side, Oregon is rolling LSU.

S-E-C! S-E-C!

Iowa has been playing well outside of the beating they took by MSU. Iowa is young and will be in the upper half of the B10 next year. They got themselves a very good coach.

NW has all the tools to win the NIT but they always choke.

Mbakwe getting hurt really chan ged this team. They can beat anyone in the NIT. PG play has been up and down for them.

If you perceived that I was not concerned with how my comments would play at OrangePlanet, you would be correct. :wink2:

Just flipped on Ceveland St. vs. Stanford and Stanford looks good so far. Hopefully CSU can pull out a victory in front of about 103 diehard Cardinal fans.

"All the little chicks with the crimson lips go Cleveland sucks, Cleveland sucks."

Stanford wins, 76-65

The B1G will go out west to visit the PAC12 in the second round:

Northwestern @ Washington
Iowa @ Oregon

The other remaining B1G, Minnesota, will take their talents to south beach and face The U.
