I figured out why HailToMichigan likes Virginia. Since they're the Cavs, and also have a Wahoo thing, he thought they were an Ohio team.

Wouldn't that be reason enough for me to hate them?

Besides, we were here first on both accounts. Hell, our football team even wore red and gray before you did, so, 1: :tongue2: and 2: stop stealing our stuff.

(It's true. We changed to orange and blue because red and gray weren't showing up well on muddy fields.)

And by the way, 300 on you know who. With no Brandon Tate the Heels' offense is going to falter.

Yeah but there's the whole lost to Duke issue. Plus Butch Davis vs Al Groh. I'd prolly lay twice this line on UNC to cover. Also UVa needs to save up its upset luck to give vt one of the two losses they need for the real tech to make it back to the ACCCG :biggrin:

uh...i clicked on the Texas vs. Missouri Vbet and this came up. I just glanced at the over/under and put 35 g's on the under. Too bad it is the wrong game.

Don't feel bad. I have done the same thing in other games. My eyes don't do me right at times. Also, you never know UNC might ring up quite a few points against a very poor Virginia team. I mean the line wasn't established by an amateur... or was it:biggrin:

For the second week in a row, I have only created the over/under line for just 1 game, the rest were all from Vegas.

It just so happens that this is the game I created the over/under for, once again involving North Carolina. (I came up with the over/under for the N. Carolina/Ntre Ame game last week).

That post was made to criticize you. I wouldn't mind it if you did make the line for every game every week. You do plenty of work and I, for one, appreciate all of it. I wasn't referring to any line at all I was just referring to your "professional" booking standards. If you look at any of my Bets for the past couple weeks I could be setting the line and still would not win.

No problem, I didn't take it as a criticism at all.

Some people may wonder where the lines and the over/under come from, and I was just letting them know. They're from a website that posts Vegas lines and odds. It was just an oddity that for 2 weeks in a row, at mid-week the N/ Carolina game had no over/under set by Vegas. So I just created one each time, so those bets could be placed.

Ironically, the over/under I created last week was actually complimeted by osugrad21 at the end of the ND-NC game, thinking it had come from Vegas.

For those that wonder or care, I do create the odds for some other vbets, like how many games TSUN will win this year, and the baseball series bets about how many games it takes for the winner to advance, some of the Olympic bets, etc. (But not the infamous Boeckman bet :wink2:).

And when anybody makes a bet they didn't want to make, it can't be undone by me or an Admin. But it can be offset by placing another bet of equal value on the opposite outcome, as long as the bet's still open.

Going with the odds, under may be a good bet on this game; since vegas has it at 44 1/2.
