I know whatcha mean. My dad ignored to his peril-for some time-rectal bleeding. By the time he submitted to an exam, the tumor had grown into the tissue surrounding his kidneys, eliminating surgery as an option. Whereupon 1) we mourned his passing in a matter of months and 2) I've since had my plumbing poked, prodded, and scoped to hell and back.

Anyway, I am glad that you were there with your training. Now Dad gets to see the Buckeyes eat Gator.

And you guys 45 and up...make the apppointment. Now. Especially if you have loved ones depending on you.
