My friend's highlight tape

Here comes the BOOM
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3n9-hgRnwfM]YouTube - Grant A. Nowell 2008 Highlight Tape C/O 2010[/ame]

Our starting RB, I know a lot of you guys here like to/are good at evaluating highlight tapes so I'd like your opinions on this one.

FWIW he is a pure speed back by nature, we clocked him at 10.47 in the 100M at track practice this week.

Didn't know where to put this so feel free to move it.

I'm not very experienced at analyzing game film, but I've watched quite a bit over the years. My two cents: he has good initial speed, he hits the hole quickly and runs hard. He has decent ability to make a few guys miss, but at the next level he may want to keep working in the weight room to be able to power out of a few initial hits. I like the way he keeps chopping his feet when he doesn't get taken down initially.

Not sure if he wants to be an every down kind of back, if so he may want to work on catching short passes and a little blocking. Didn't really get to see any of that in the highlight tape, so can't really comment on his ability there. With his kind of speed I think he could be dangerous in a dump off situation for a QB, or get him out into a flat and get him the ball. That puts him into a good position to dodge someone in the secondary and rack up some yards.
