My thoughts and prayers are with you peach. I lost my grandfather this weekend too, so you have a kindred spirit of sorts...though parents and grandparents are certainly different, it is still a tough loss, and I don't wish the way I feel right now on anyone. May God be with you and your family.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts during this difficult time. We all mourn the loss of a loved one differently. (Many years ago, I learned that when mourning a loss, not to lose sight of also celebrating the life that was.)
We are here for you. In some ways, online "friends" are like real friends in that friends can double our joy and help divide our grief

My deepest sympathies, Peach. It's never easy to lose a parent, and it will take a long time to heal. Although it is hard to accept that you will never see him again, you were able to say goodbye. I cannot even imagine having a loved one die suddenly -- no chance whatsoever to prepare. If you ever need to talk, I'm here for you, girl.

So sorry for your loss, Peach. I'm glad you had those final days together. It is something you will remember forever, in a positive way.

Never forget to take all those gifts he gave you and use them as he asked you.
