On Bucknuts, bravefan (aka Deepthroat) has made it clear that he hasn't heard that Conley was involved whatsoever in this mess. He's been pretty accurate up to now on his info... He does somewhat imply that Cooper may be involved (i think that's his implication, it's like putting together a puzzle with his posts)

I want to say that Conley's name was never mentioned to me --- but between goldpants (page 7), chip (page 7), Summerbuck (page 5) and my response to Summerbuck (page 5) -- you pretty much have all the driving forces behind this "story" (From what I've seen so far, I'd prefer to use the term "smear job"). </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

You people would be damn surprised how many people hate Tressel. Some members of the media hate that his practices are closed and they can't get to the players easily, some ex coaches hate alot of things about Tressel. I'm not trying to be secretive, it's been known for awhile that this was gonna come out and it's quite sad.

I just went to look up Bravefans (aka Deepthraot) rescent quotes. Many have been deleted. Is G Gordon Liddy involved here? Does this go all the way to the Whitehouse? Was Clinton the one to give the OK?
