I grew up watching OSU with my grandpa in the 90s. Didn't start really getting into it until '00. Therefore, while I vaguely remember watching the '96 Rose Bowl and loved it, wins before the '00s didn't hold nearly as much meaning for me.
1.
2015 Sugar Bowl vs Bama - After years of not being able to beat the best, OSU beat the best program of the entire era. Did it coming back from -18 for added flair.
2.
2003 Fiesta Bowl vs Miami (FL.) - I watched this with my grandpa and threw my hat on the ground as the last pass from Krenzel fell. Then I heard 'FLAG FLAG FLAG!" and the rest is history. One of the best games I've ever watched and I was still too young to really be nervous. Great times.
3.
2015 CFP NC vs Oregon - Sometimes it seems anticlimactic, but Oregon was a favorite and OSU made quite a few mistakes. The final TD and INT were glorious.
4.
2013 The Game - I was so fucking tired of hearing about 1969 coming into this. Even though the 2013 squad was very flawed, they had a lot of talent and I did not want them to lose this game. After Powell broke up the 2 PT conversion, I was as happy as I've ever been after a game.
5.
2004 The Game - My grandpa died a few weeks after the spring game in '04. We finished watching and he changed the channel and said "Man they're going to suck this year"

. And they did at first. Then they got better and won the one that mattered. Wish I could've watched it with him, but I knew my grandpa was smiling at the victory and laughing his ass off at the last few plays as OSU was leveling their WRs.
