Good point. Since we're on the topic, now; does anyone know why it seems that so many celebrities are more liberal? I've been clueless on this topic for many years now.

Because the idea of liberalism is more appealing at first sight.

Liberals tend to be idealistic while conservatives tend to be realistic.

Thinking idealistic means you believe that every country can succeed such that if the US makes gains that other countries do as well.

Thinking realistec means you believe in a zero sum game such that if the US makes gains, some other country is making a loss.
