For the record, Stonegate was really easy to work with, we closed on a cash-out refinance three weeks after my initial inquiry with them. Lots of paperwork, I keep that all together pretty well but it could be a pain if you don't have complete $$ records. I worked with a good guy out of the Mansfield office, I would recommend him if asked, closed through Great American Title, no hassles. FWIW

I'm not a first time home-buyer, but up until today I was going to be a first time home builder sometime around the 19th of June.
With the federal furlough looming, I had the fun duty to call the builder and tell them that we needed to stop the process until the situation is resolved, which it won't be any time soon. Losing 20% of my income is a bitch.....
