Mortgage/First-Time Buyers

It's been my experience that those under house garages are a water trouble spot in that design. I had a raised ranch that had that exact problem(house #1). Most of the time the driveway drain handled it. Sometimes, not!
Every house design makes some compromises.
The trick is not to make a design weakness(relative) worse.
Be sure to control run off around foundation and water off your roof(gutters).

If that is the garage on the right you could have water drainage issues there. Hope the grade helps.
And I hope there is a drain pipe in your garage driveway?

Dude, F that! I don't even see any driveway ... or grass ... hell, at least get the contractor to clean up all the debris in your front yard/dirt. Another problem I notice is all the wall bracing. Gonna be a REAL problem trying to move your furniture around in THAT house. Now that I mention it, how the hell will they lay the flooring? It's been my experience that simple wood decking isn't nearly as comfortable as say carpet, or even tile. Screw the windows and doors, you have some SERIOUS issues that need to be resolved FIRST! Otherwise nice place. Nice view too. You can see the wooded area in your backyard from your front yard! Might be a bit drafty though, but every design has it's pros and cons. Personally, I like the great "view".

complete nonsense. I say let it build up...and no gutters....with all those trees leaves will fill up any gutter you put up....Besides if you let the water pool around the foundation you can just tell people it's a moat.
