the nba isn't just entirely unrealistic for faried; it's a lock. heck, i think he looks really, really good as a lottery pick.MaxBuck;1818896; said:Don't begrudge the kid his 15 minutes of fame. Although based on what I saw tonight, the NBA isn't entirely unrealistic for Faried.

Microcosm of why this team is better this year than last: With about 2:00 to play Craft has the ball in traffic and winds up having it knocked out of his hand. He spins around and recovers and kicks out to Lighty, who drains a 3 from the corner. If that were Evan Turner under the rim, when the ball is knocked out of his hand he gives up, throws both hands up, and argues with Valentine for a foul call.
Loved watching Evan, but that act really got frustrating to watch last year.

I think it has to do with the fact that this is a "Tournament Game" with the round robin format between Fl, OSU, Morehead, UNCW
DZ83CK;1819004; said:No, it has to do with BTN wanting to air Indiana's game instead. The season opener was the same way, BTN chose to air an Indiana game instead of the OSU game.

That's wonderful for you, but doesn't change the fact that it is impossible for many of us to get it, since our ISP isn't on the VIP list for ESPN.I love a good "hey, lets rail against the tyranny of ESPN" discussion as the next guy, but I just can't agree with any complaint about ESPN3.
Tonight, for example, I checked espn3.com and had my choice of six different live basketball games with a tip-off of either 7:00 or 8:00, and ESPN3 seemlessly supports PiP. I can go back and pull up tons of events I missed, including lots of football games and basketball games that weren't broadcast on any channels I get in my TV package.
I don't see how this is a problem.

The most absurd part is I could switch to Time Warner's RoadRunner service, but in a money grab of their own they block ESPN3 xbox access to those without TW Cable service, something which is not even offered in my area.
