Sorry I missed one, Buford didn't start?
Welcome back from Sleepy Hollow, Rip. William had back spasms.

Faried is as advertised. Stud. How does a guy like this wind up at Morehead St?

Microcosm of why this team is better this year than last: With about 2:00 to play Craft has the ball in traffic and winds up having it knocked out of his hand. He spins around and recovers and kicks out to Lighty, who drains a 3 from the corner. If that were Evan Turner under the rim, when the ball is knocked out of his hand he gives up, throws both hands up, and argues with Valentine for a foul call.

Loved watching Evan, but that act really got frustrating to watch last year.

Morehead got probation for booster activity regarding a player who was from the place Faried was from, and they didn't have any other recruits from that area. Morehead is on probation and had a scholarship penalty for what went on between their boosters and the unnamed recruit (Faried).

For those wondering why this isn't a BTN game....

I think it has to do with the fact that this is a "Tournament Game" with the round robin format between Fl, OSU, Morehead, UNCW

No, it has to do with BTN wanting to air Indiana's game instead. The season opener was the same way, BTN chose to air an Indiana game instead of the OSU game. The UNC-Wilmington game was on BTN even though it was part of the tourney.

I knew after seeing Faried last year he would be a pro. After tonight I think he is a lock for the first round. Not many 6-7ish guys really get off the floor like ha does. The block on Lighty was a thing of beauty.

I think overall is was a mess of a game for all. I think we missed Bufords ability to make buckets tonight, because we had a tough time with the zone. All in all not that bad. We beat a likely tourney team by 19, without Buford, and while playing our worst game this season.

I have to say though, I wanna see Thomas is the starting lineup. He brings alot more to the table on O then Dallas. Which would help against these zone teams.

...which is nothing short of a [censored]-poor business decision. OSU is ranked #3 in the country. Indiana? Not so much.

You might as well put :osu: at #2 after Sparty's loss to the Huskies last night.

I mean isn't Buford at least worth .75 points:) and thanks to all of you who posted that Buford will not be playing last night after I placed my vbet:shake: He is probably our best weapon against a zone defense because he can break the creases in the zone and hit his nice little 15' jumpshot.

After last night, I think we are going to see some more zone defenses before the season ends. Don't think there are many teams out there that can play us man-to-man affectively.

I thought ESPN got first pick of the tourney game. BTN got sloppy seconds.

Pretty pitiful that eSpin gets to put a game on a channel that the vast majority of people do not get, when the B10 network has overflow channels showing most the same IU team.

But since I lost all my v-cash betting the over and on the Bucks (thank God it's only v-cash, as obviously I'm a horrid gambler) I'm sort of glad, in some ways that the game wasn't available for my viewing pleasure.

I hope Bufords back is ok, back spasms can be a sign of other problems, as good as this team is, he brings that mid-range, create your own shot that nobody else really has.

I love a good "hey, lets rail against the tyranny of ESPN" discussion as the next guy, but I just can't agree with any complaint about ESPN3.

Tonight, for example, I checked espn3.com and had my choice of six different live basketball games with a tip-off of either 7:00 or 8:00, and ESPN3 seemlessly supports PiP. I can go back and pull up tons of events I missed, including lots of football games and basketball games that weren't broadcast on any channels I get in my TV package.

I don't see how this is a problem.

That's wonderful for you, but doesn't change the fact that it is impossible for many of us to get it, since our ISP isn't on the VIP list for ESPN.

The most absurd part is I could switch to Time Warner's RoadRunner service, but in a money grab of their own they block ESPN3 xbox access to those without TW Cable service, something which is not even offered in my area.
