Is that the one that uses cheese whiz? I have to have some type of pizza cheese on my samich. Cheese whiz does not belong on a samich IMHO.

Mushrooms sautéed in oil

Heat an iron skillet or a non stick pan over medium heat
add3 table spoons of oil to the pan and sauté the onions to desired doneness
remove the onions

exhawg... if you're ever in Philly... ya might want to find philly cheese steak nirvana (the originator of the samich)... here's the site... been there lots... it's an hour away from me...

http://www.patskingofsteaks.com/
NJ- Pat's is the f-in' best. I'm not far from Philly myself, and when we get up there Pat's is a must.

Exhawg- cheez whiz is the traditional way to order it- a steak "with". I don't like it myself, but that's what the purists eat. It's kind of like ordering from the Soup Nazi- you've got to know what you want, and use the proper lingo when placing your order.

This would be me trying to order a samich.

Me- I'd like a cheesesteak, you are the guys who put cheese whiz on it right?
Pat- (annoyed) yes
Me- Do you have any other types of cheese that you can put on it?
Pat- Get the fuck out of line. You are banned for one year.

Pat will quiver with fear...
People know not to get in between me an my dinner. Around these parts my last name is a verb (ie. The buffet has been *****ed). I would recommend staying out of Myrtle Beach if you want seafood between June 14-19. It will all be in my belly.

My parents go down there every year so they have favorite places to eat. I think Mammy's for seafood and some other townie place for wings and other food. We used to go to the Channel Marker at Murrell's Inlet, but it went out of business several years back.

Try Lee's Inlet Kitchen or Dockside. Lee's is the best food in the area...hands down. Homemade hushpuppies and honey butter...amazing.

Oh, and don't leave SC without having a bowl of She-Crab soup.

Maybe I'll bring you a pound or two of good vinegar-based, country BBQ also...
