When he decommitted, all the chatter was Mizzou, and that his friendship with Mookie Cooper was significant.

Yeah, Mizzou has done so well with high rated WRs... I remember them taking a 5star WR not too long ago, and making him a non factor within a year. Good luck Luther

You are probably thinking of Dorial Green-Beckham back in like 2013-14 (???). Yeah I know, it's been a minute. He was the highest rated WR recruit ever to sign there. Got drafted in 2nd rd by Tenn. Jeremy Maclin is the only other significant WR that I can remember coming out of Mizzou and that was back in like '08 or '09.

I remember seeing or hearing he was pretty close with Mookie Cooper and it helped solidify his decision. Regardless........glad he didn't end up at UGA or Bama.

Good recall there man, that was going back a bit. I am of the same opinion though, we have more talent than we know what to do with at WR and Luther not winding up at the likes of OU, Bama or UGA is a nice win on the side.

Yup, that's him, DGB. Was supposed to be their version of Calvin Johnson, and flamed very fast under the pressure.
Burden moved himself into irrelevance by going to Mizzou, but at least he'll get immediate PT and won't give UGA and Bama more weapons.
