2026 MO OL Jackson Cantwell (Verbal Offer)

Not the first time have read that the kid "didn't want to play in the cold". Seems like that is the refrain from many southern recruits. Got it, the weather in the south doesn't have snow, and cold means a long-sleeved shirt instead of a tee. But even if they play for a southern university, and a southern based NFL team, they'll eventually have a northern team on their schedule, and could be late November. Also believe there's more 'beach people' than 'mountain people' in the USA. Probably just an excuse.....

Guess my California bias is showing out. Neither, it's a plains state, however, it does have some skiing, as well as beaches along Lake Erie. However, it does have four distinct seasons, unlike southern climes, etc.

And as you get older you definitey love the milder weather, even cold sometimes for me. I was all about the beach and half-nakedness when I was younger too. Ain't got no tme for that now. lol
