For instant impact, I'd say Mo C. The guy WAS an amazing talent for being a freshman.

Beanie will end up being the better back in the end though. He'll be in the college game for at least 3 years, and all that time in development and coaching will only benefit him.

As a freshman, Mo C. As an overall back, Beanie.

I will contend Clarett was more of an instant impact player because we had no one else to tote the rock, Beanie came in behind Pitt

Bingo.

Maurice was a freak. 18 year old who many were expecting to grab a heisman for sure in his 3 year stay at tOSU and carry the buckeyes to back to back titles.

Woulda-coulda.

Beanie is a class act, and will likely become the 2nd junior captain under JT next fall. Beanie, with 2 breakout games back-to-back to end this season may just snag the heisman this year. If nothing else, he's setting himself up for a run at it next year.

Apples to oranges, unless you wanna look at talent as an 18 year old kid only.. and my vote there goes to MoC truth be told. Never seen anyone run like he did.

IT's just my opinion, but MoC was a FREAK when he was healthy. I still think he gave more punishing blows to defenders (wash St as an example) than Beanie has so far. MoC just dragged people with him. There was also heisman talk his freshman year (as if he had a legit shot at it before he got injured), and i think he WAS still ahead of Beanie UNTIL the middle of this season..........

I just think Beanie will win this easily because MoC is a disgrace, but on the field i gotta give him his props. He HAD a ring on his finger before he went to jail...
