Sounds like a baller, Eliano is putting in work to get a top 10 S. Can't keep worrying about losing Bolden
Since he's in the middle of the HS playoffs, I don't see him getting to Columbus(his games are played on Saturday), unless they lose.

The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound Perich is also on the Lincoln track and basketball teams. In track, he won the Minnesota state title in the long jump as a sophomore and has a personal best of 22’ 3.5 inches and was a state qualifier in the triple jump and 200 meters. He has run a 10.89 100-meter. Perich has run a laser-timed 4.54 40-yard dash.

In basketball, Perich has already scored over 1,000 career points and has had games of 50 and 40 points.

As a junior, Perich made 75 tackles and intercepted three passes. He forced four fumbles and had two sacks. On the other side of the ball Perich accounted for 1,600 all-purpose yards and had 26 touchdowns. He rushed for 813 yards, averaging 13.6 yards per carry and caught 17 passes, averaging 21.1 yards per reception.

Perich was named to the 2023 247Sports Freaks List.

Perich is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He is the country’s No. 84 overall prospect, the No. 8 safety and the No. 1 prospect in Minnesota.

Love this offer!
Somewhat reminiscent of the offer to Lincoln Kienholz last year – under the radar prospect from a small town in the Upper Midwest who is a superior athlete. If you're going to take a flyer on a kid, this is the type of high-ceiling prospect that's worth the risk.

On3’s Matt Parker says:
Figured we were done at safety after the Roker commit, so the kid must be pretty good. All the above has me on board and would be a really nice unexpected addition if we pull it off. Great athlete and just saw he is ranked #84 overall in the 247 rankings and #115 in the On3 rankings, so not as under the radar nationally as I had thought.

Plus a star basketball player like Kienholz was in HS. Definitely a fan of this offer, he would be a welcome addition to McLain and Roker. Then it's on to what looks like an excellent safety class in '25 of guys that are either heavy OSU leans or very realistic.

Well, when you think that OSU will probably lose 2-3 S after this season, and we all know that Knowles likes to use his S in creative ways.

Fair point, the immediate need is there and we usually have 3 on the field it seems like. Moreso meant I didn't see any other targets out there after the McClain commitment until Roker and now Perich, so I was wondering what the plan was. Roker I think has some upside, but Perich looks like the real deal and likely more game-ready...so adding him would be really big and a great save.
