Shameful.
I always have fond memories of the Dodgers, my granfather had season tickets from 74-82 and somebody from the family went to ever game (2 seats for him and my grandmother). I saw Dave Kingman hit three homers against them twice, once as a Met the other as a Cub.MLB Net stat-
Dodgers have answered back in 38% of half innings after conceding a run since 2022.
One, you're 22. Don't mess with 14 year olds. Two, if you do, don't be dumb enough to put it on social media.
Time will tell if it's true or not, but 14? You're an MLB player messing with an 8th grader? Dude...
Yeah, saw this. Not looking real good but I'm in the "fax and evidents" mode anymore, seriously. We have nothing but the internet telling us she's 14 etc etc etc.
Looks like he's proper fucked by the way the Rays are handling it but it's just so easy to accuse someone of something on SM I am reluctant to buy it on face value.
Looks like the Rays are going to get to the bottom of it, be it true or false.
Outside of baseball thing but I hate that companies first move is to suspend people without pay.
I get removing them from duties pending an investigation of serious allegations but you shouldn't have your income (which is most people's only source of revenue which means food shelter etc for non millionaires) cut off until you can prove innocence from allegations.
That seems backwards to me.
My experience has been that it's a lot easier to give the employee back pay if they're cleared, but hard to get it back if you pay them and they're found guilty. In this case, I imagine this is covered in the CBA. If it's not, the MLBPA will likely act on Franco's behalf.
