MLB General Discussion (Official Thread)

Lucky, that’s awesome man

Yeah, it honestly could not have worked out better. We didn’t think we‘d get to see him pitch, but yesterday’s postponement got us a double header today, so we got both games for one ticket.

He has set the bar so damn high. Like, we knew it was a great pitching performance in game 1, but he went 0-5 and did nothing at all batting, so it ended up being a bit meh. Then he comes out and hits the bombs in game 2, and it’s fine….I’ve seen guys have two HR games before. Not that special. But in the perspective of doing both on the same day? Holy shit…..it’s probably the best individual performance I’ve ever seen on a ball field. He‘s incredible and anyone that gets the chance should go see him play.

The only one arguably better that I’ve been there for was Mark Whiten’s 4 HR, 12 RBI game back in 93 in Riverfront. That was no fun as a Reds fan, but was an amazing performance.

Sports are the best - you just never know what you might see when you show up!

Cubs just had an incredible game saving play. Robbed a 2-run walk off HR.

Hate ‘em but wow. Jermain Dye saving a no hitter may be only bigger rob I can remember.

Right after a really nice 4-6-3 DP. Cards have to be feeling totally cursed right now. What a shame!
