They are back to the table today. I think it will go pretty quick. The issues on the table aren't worth a full on war over.

Both sides can't be that tone deaf to the damage they will cause to the game if this continues into the season...can they? Oh wait I just answered my own question.

History and all, eh? Nothing they haven’t done before. Baseball Labor Issues Trivia: Who won the 1994 World Series?

This bargaining agreement won’t come quickly, won’t be easy and won’t leave the sport undamaged.

They can stay out until July for all I care. Hell, skip the entire season.

I don't know what I'll do without 19 nationally-televised Yankees-Red Sox games that last 4 hours, but I'll think of something.

MLB owners were trying to role back gains made by a union in 1994. That is the level of issue any union will strike over.

There is just nothing substantive like that in this CBA renegotiation.

Maybe I'm wrong but I still don't think we'll see a major delay. They know ST is too long anyway, so they are happy to use a portion of it as the sacrifice to get the deal done, imo.

At least I hope so. I'm ready for a "normal" year of sports.

I was poised to go watch the worthless Reds spring training but I'm over it already. I dont think they'll every get me back like I used to be. The business of it all is rotten

With ESPN Plus I've got all the college baseball and softball I can handle. Then when MiLB starts up I can get my live baseball fix down at Huntington Park. FUCK the MLB Owners and Players Union
