MLB (2015 regular season)

as expected, the NL East is rapidly becoming the Nationals and a pile of crap for the other 4 teams...

the AL East isn't much better - the fact the Orioles are only 2.5 out shows you how shitty that division is....

A's Billy Burns has had better days

OUCH

Athletics outfielder Billy Burns was forced to exit Friday’s game against the Giants due to what was referred to as a “testicular contusion.” That’s right. Burns suffered the injury in the bottom of the third inning when he tapped a foul ball and was hit in a very sensitive area. While he somehow managed to finish the at-bat, he didn’t feel well enough to continue after going out to play defense in the top of the fourth.

MLB umpires are the worst in pro sports. They go out of their way to escalate arguments then throw guys out when they respond. Then there's the idiotic "issuing warnings" when a guy gets beaned, even in situations where it makes no sense to think the pitcher threw at a guy. The fact is, they have the discretion to toss a pitcher if they feel he's throwing at people intentionally. Issuing warnings to both teams - even when one of them hasn't even hit a guy - is just silly.

These are the same clowns who toss guys for "showing them up" and yet they all put on a show when calling a third strike, and if a guy doesn't like it they toss him. :roll1:
