Does anyone here want to tell me that they saw the news footage and thought that either of those kids looked emotionally or physically traumatized in any way? Unless it comes out that he was somehow physically restained in some way that my conclusion is that the older kid remained in that situation by choice. A Fifteen year old boy is not a baby. People used to fight in wars at that age and still do in some countries.

I'm perfectly aware that it's not PC in this country for the victim in a crime to assume any responsibility for their continued victimhood. Battered Women's Syndrome, Stockhold Syndrome ect ect.

Any chance it could just be "hey this guy doesn't make me go to school and I hate my step dad. This ain't so bad"?
