I'm not in the poll thingy, but here are my rankings based solely on how good I think the teams are and not so much on specific head-to-head results:

1. Florida
2. USC
3. Alabama
4. Texas
5. Ohio State
6. Oklahoma
7. Georgia
8. Penn State
9. Florida State
10. Arkansas
11. Mississippi
12. Va Tech
13. Miami
14. Iowa
15. Houston
16. Texas Tech
17. Wisconsin
18. Boise State
19. LSU
20. TCU
21. South Carolina
22. Auburn
23. South Florida
24. Cincinnati
25. Missouri

Some thoughts:

a. Cincinnati has a nice team, but 24th in the nation is as good as they are. Anyone who seriously thinks they win more than they lose against Penn State, or even Iowa, is delusional.
b. Penn State is clearly better than Iowa, even given the outcome of the game last night. Iowa got every possible break, and Clark had an absolutely dreadful game that is only partly explained by Iowa's very good defense.
c. I hesitate to even put LSU into the top 20. Top 20 teams should not struggle that much against Mississippi Freaking State. Yet the talent seems to be there.
d. Michigan has proven in its near-loss to Indiana that it does not belong in the top 25 - yet.
e. Florida State has failed in a couple of games, but if you watch that team closely, tell me they don't have top 10 talent. Maybe Bowden has had time pass him by, but I think by the end of the year they will be right there; I see them winning the ACC.
f. Ferentz seems to have his mojo fully back. How any coach can win with the limited raw talent he gets is beyond me. Iowa's ranking relates more to Ferentz and relatively little with who occupies the jerseys.

Maxbuck your more like max idiot. How can you say UC cannot beat either Iowa/Penn State after that miserable performance by both teams last night. They looked more like the Mac conference then the Big 10.
Here is the way the top 25 should be.

1. Florida (Unless Tebow is going to miss games)
2. Alabama
3. Texas
4. LSU
5. Virginia Tech
6. Boise St.
7. TCU
8. Houston
9. Cincinnati (Conservative rank)
10. Iowa
11. Oklahoma
12. Oregon
13. Georgia
14. Missouri
15. Kansas
16. USC
17. OSU (Lucky your here)
18. Georgia Tech
19. Mississippi
20. South Florida
21. South Carolina
22. Auburn
23. Michigan
24. BYU
25. Penn State

Your lucky I put more than 2 Big Ten teams. If UC gets a chance at OSU this year we will put them down. You may be "THE" OHIO STATE BUCKEYES but We are "THE" BEST TEAM IN OHIO IN 2009.

Way to make friends here, calling someone an idiot in your first post. Why not argue against his point instead of insulting him?

Also, you did not give any justification/explanation for your rankings, so how are we to understand them?

This is not a smack board.

You're welcome to defend Cinci, Alaska or Mount Union, but you'll do it in a respectful manner or your stay here will be short.

I do love how OSU is lucky to be at 17, but Oregon checks in at 12 after a horrendous first two showings.

Bearcatjeff your more like bearfatjeff. How can you say UC can beat either Iowa/Penn State since they have never won shit? They play in a conference more like the MAC than the Big 10.

Your lucky Cincinnati is in the top 15. If UC gets a chance at OSU this year they will lose. You may be "OHIO'S BCS TEAM" () but we always have been and always will be one thing.

Better.

Now go beat some cupcakes.

The game last night was not all that impressive it almost like like 2 mac teams. UC would win the Big Ten this year. There really isn't a team that stands out like a Florida, Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU that would give us problems. I think our game is much faster than Big Ten has to offer.

Nope, not from Kentucky therefore, NO SOUTHERN SPEED!!!!111!~~!~@!!!!!~!@!~!!!!

Hell at this point UC wouldn't even beat scUM, which means they woudln't beat Indiana or Sparty.

Fuckin Bearcat fans :slappy:

Bring it on losers.

EDIT: please please please don't ban that loser - live troll to play with is WIN

A very smart argument considering the b10's slowest team, Wisconsin (who is not a good power team any longer), had a virtually identical game in yardage & points before overtime.

The media and fans constantly confuse a lack of defense with game speed. Don't be one of them. I'm not saying Cinci can't play D, they do a solid job, but big east games aren't particularly strong in that department.

There's a reason why your team is in the Big Least conference and not the Big Ten...it's because you're just another flash-in-the-pan mid-tier team. Cincy would go maybe 4-4, 5-3 at best, in the Big Team, and that's with one of your best teams of all fucking time. So do yourself--and the rest of us--a big favor and just shut the fuck up...now.
