I can't remember the name but I think it was a Knights Inn near Wright State. My dad and I were down there foir the State Wrestling Tournement and the place was horrible. The curtains were made from the same material as blankets on the... both an ugly purple color... plus it was right next to the off ramp. My wife and I also stayed in a nasty one in South Bend a few years ago.... can't remember the name of it though.

Was it called The Charlie Weis Inn?

Um about 3-4 years ago the whole family went up to what used to be called Geauga Lake, then was bought by Six Flags and called Six Flags Three Worlds of Adventure when we went, and now it is owned by Cedar Point and called Geauga Lake again.

But anyway we went in August and it was hot out, we got up there looking for a hotel to stay overnight since we were up there for two days. Went to the usual Days Inn's, Cross County Inn's, etc. and they wanted way to much then we were willing to spend. So we found this hotel like 15 miles away from Geauga Lake that was like $60 a night. It was called The Palms Inn. The guy working behind the counter looks and talks like Jethro. My dad asks how the "security" around the area and the guy just gives a confusing stare.

We get in the room, not bad, but not great. We turn the little AC on because it was hot in the room and drop our bags and go to the park. We get back about 5 hours later and the room is roasting. The damn AC won't work, my mom wants to take a shower and there is no hot water. We complain to the office and the lady says her son(guess who?) is working on it. About an hour later and its still not fixed my dad says he wants his money back. We get it back and leave. Plus we wanted to get out of there before Jethro blows our asses up. Never let Jethro deal with natural gas.

My dad says on the way home he thinks the place is rented out by the hour.

It was a Holiday Inn somewhere in Michigan. There was no A/C and it was mid July. And when I took the comforter off the bed (which is a must since they wash them about 3 times a year) there was a meatball, a fucking meatball, between the blanket and comforter. The whole place was nasty.

No that place that was booked first before we got the hotel zane told us to get.

The Roadside Country Motel or what ever it was called....looked like the bates motel.

Is that the place on 119 in Rindge? If so, that place really looks like the Bates Motel.

My worst hotel was in Riabamba, Ecuador. It's just a place we stayed in while on a mountain climbing trip. We unfortunately went on Easter weekend, which is absolutely insane in any Roman Catholic country(I would imagine). We had to cross through a parade just to get to the bus. The place was more shady than unsanitary, but I wouldn't exactly eat in the rooms either.

Did that numb your minds?
